The latest version of the Vampire Range - The Vampire 2008 Excelerator and Vampire 2008S Excelerator were successfully launched at the World Championships in Edmonton in July. Many members of the Australian Men's and Women's Teams (who finished just outside the medals in 4th and 5th place respectively) used these two designs in Canada and are testament to the new designs speed, turning and nose control.

Congratulations Warwick Draper - 5th place in Beijing. Warwick blitzed the course in the semi final and was in 2nd place going into the final and he finished just out of the medals after the final run. Warwick's kayak was an Elite Carbon and kevlar Laminate Spin FX with produced by vacuum infusion.
The Spin FX is now available in 3 different laminates- see our Slalom Kayak price list and laminate descriptions effective November 1st 2008. The Smaller version of the Spin FX- the Bolt is also now available. Pictures and more specifications for both kayaks will be available shortly. Price increase due to AUD changes
The current exchange rate of around 0.5€ for every 1 Australian dollar, and .61USD for 1 AUD has made some materials and paddles more expensive in Australia. As a result some of our prices have had to change.
However the good news for our European and US Customers is that our top level laminate is now roughly 1000€ plus freight and taxes. Order now through your local agent. Current delivery time is 10-12 weeks for most designs.
